Supply and install appropriate lintels i.e. catlic and rsj
Insulation to external cavity walls to include, please highlight if you prefer not to include this in your quote.
Note: All waste must be removed independently and must comply with statutory requirements.
Generally: Some specifications have not been confirmed in the drawings, please provide your estimate using reasonable priced material specification and highlight in estimate, for example brick specification. Scaffolding will be provided for safe access of works.
External walls: Generally: cavity construction – 102mm facing brick sample to planning authority for sign off before works commence.100mm cavity with isowool hi-cav slabs or dritherm 32 cavity insulation, 100mm celcon solar block to inner skin. Stainless steel twist type wall ties to bs.1243: 1978 (amended) spaced 750mm horizontally, 450mm vertically.
Staggered rows and double up at openings.
Cavity closed at reveals using ‘therma bridge plus’ or similar approved d.p.c / insulation, to be well lapped where meeting horizontal therma bridge plus to be positioned with d.p.c facing outwards.
All external wall d.p.c’s to comply with bs.743 horizontal d.p.c to be provided 150mm min above finished ground level.
Below d.p.c -280 celcon trench blocks or 2 skins of fletton brickwork with 100mm cavity Internal walls: To ground floor – 100mm celcon standard blockwork, with 13mm render and set both sides.
